My name is Brandon LaVere, and I built this prayer website because Jesus changed my life. Years ago, I graduated from Teen Challenge, and it was during that journey that I learned the true power of prayer, healing, and surrender. Recently, I asked Jesus what He wanted me to do to further His ministry and bring more people to Him. The answer became clear: use the skills He gave me to build faith-based tools that lift people up, connect them to God, and make prayer accessible to anyone who needs it.
I also created Post Your Prayer because I live with Tinnitus—a medical condition that causes constant ringing in my ears, day and night, with no cure. Most people don’t understand how deeply it affects your life until they face it themselves. It has impacted my marriage, my work, my sleep, and my ability to feel normal. The emotional weight became overwhelming.
In 2022, my life reached a breaking point. The ringing, the pressure, the hopelessness—it all came crashing down. I put a knife to my wrist and was seconds away from ending my life.
At that exact moment, by the grace of God, my phone rang. It was my pastor. He had no idea what I was about to do, yet he talked me out of taking my life. That phone call saved me. I know without a doubt that God intervened.
After surviving that moment, I knew I needed a deeper purpose. That’s why Post Your Prayer exists. It began as my personal cry for prayer, but now it’s a place for anyone carrying silent battles—a community built on hope, healing, and Jesus.
